To make a good kite, the highest quality fabric is (of course) very important. F-One kites are made from Teijin Technoforce Double Ripstop fabric. This double ripstop fabric is strong, rigid, and lightweight. Thin threads woven through the fabric prevent small tears from spreading. Additionally, these thin yet strong threads ensure that the fabric is less elastic across the surface. And less stretching of the kite fabric ensures that the kite maintains its ideal flying characteristics for longer and therefore flies for longer. To give F-One kites, including the Bandit, an even longer lifespan in addition to the lightweight and durable fabric, F-One has incorporated a strength frame in some models.
